I have a 2011 Orange Blood in Passion Red sized 15 for sale that i absolutely love. Im selling because i keep using this fantastic bike instead of my 224.
i bought the bike in april 2011 as a standard bike from Grafham Cycles for £2995, since buying it i have converted the dual ring setup up to
a single ring and MRP G2 chain guide. bike makes an excellent mini DH bike. i have also fitted Hope seat clamp, Hope headset and Hope BB, more for peace of mind than anything else.
I have also fitted Sram’s superb X0 rear derailluer and 9spd shifter with a hollow pin PC991 chain. Other items are, Raceface diabolous handlebars, Raceface respond cranks, Fox RP23 rear air shock,
Fox 36 FLOAT forks, Avid Elixir brakes, Hope pro2 hubs on Mavic rims, SDG belair saddle and good old DMR V8′s with terror pins. Its a stunning bike that i will miss, it rides amazingly and performs like no other 5 inch bike ive ridden. usual chips and scuffs, has a scuff due to chain suck from before it was converted to single ring. By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address below.

We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full.

All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Errors and omissions excepted. Subject to not selling below our cost price.

For out of stock items, delivery dates given are only estimates.

Complaints

We try very hard to exceed our customer expectations. In case we fail and you need to complain about our service then please email us at info@fatbirds.co.uk or call our manager, Richard Bird on 01485 535875 and we will try to resolve your issue as quickly and easily as possible.

Please be aware aggressive/ threatening behavior is not tolerated, you will be banned from the site, your goods we still have will be refunded, we will refuse to deal with you in future and report you to the police.

We will acknowledge all questions or queries within a maximum period of 48 hours.

Damaged or defective goods

We will supply goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months (or longer if required by law) from the date of delivery.

You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must sign for your parcel as damaged (if you do not do this we are unable to accept it for return), tell us as soon as possible and we will arrange for their return to us or the manufacturer. If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will at your option repair or replace the goods or refund the price paid by you.

Any bike ordered must be checked by a trained bike mechanic before you attempt to ride it unless special pre build is requested.

Other information you need to be aware of:

A copy of these Terms and Conditions and your order may not be kept by us and so we advise you to print a copy of them for your information in the future.

If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract and receive a refund. However, we will only accept unwanted products for refund within 7 days of delivery, provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition. You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days starting on the day after the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost.

Returns Policy

- If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition within 7 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. It’s that simple.

- We make no charge for returns – there is no restocking fee

- Returned goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

- We cannot accept returns on clothing that has been personalised e.g. with name printing

- We will credit the card we have on file for you this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds

- If the original payment was via PayPal we will credit the PayPal account that the order was placed with

- Value of goods only will be refunded.

- For the purpose of hygiene, shorts, knicks and tights with a seatpad cannot be returned

NOTE: Please do not tape up, or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first.

- Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt.

- Goods must be in original packaging.

- Goods must not be fitted or used.

- Goods must be accompanied with a Cover note with your order number, name, address, reason for return, explaining if you would like a exchange or refund.

Who pays the postage on returned Items?
If you return something due to it not fitting or being suitable, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.

If you return something due to it being faulty we refund up to ?10 carriage for bikes & frames and ?5 for smaller items. If your return exceeds this amount please contact info@fatbirds.co.uk and we can arrange collection for you. Please state a date and collection address (not Saturday or Sunday) where the goods can be collected from.

We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

Orange Alpine 160 2011 20″ frame

Purchased June 2011
The bike is in great condition and has been maintained to a high standard. The frame has the expected odd scratch from stones and cables plus a small stone impact taken to the down tube (see pic) 
The rear brake needs a bleed which is a 10min job, brake pads have only had a couple of rides on them.
